The Greater Victoria Dog Obedience Training Club (GVDOTC) is an All Breed and Mixed Breed dog training club licensed by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and a member of the Association of Island Obedience Clubs (AIOC) to hold obedience trials and matches. We have conducted obedience classes in Victoria for over 60 years. Our instructors are experienced and volunteer their time. In addition to various levels of Obedience Classes, we provide instruction and practice in Tracking and advanced work and preparation for competition.
In addition to sponsoring CKC events and conducting classes, we put on demonstrations at schools and participate in Pet Therapy in nursing homes and other facilities. If you would like well-behaved dogs and enjoy activities with them, then this is the place for you.
